The Story of Eloise

ASK ANTHONY BEGINS WITH ELOISE

Eloise, the star of Kay Thompson and Hilary Knight’s beloved children’s books, is a six-year-old girl who lives on the “tippy-top floor” of the Plaza Hotel. Within the hotel’s walls, she goes on adventures with the hotel’s staff and other guests. While working as Director of Front Office Operations, Anthony was inspired by a young guest’s query: “Hey Mister, where’s Eloise?” In response, Anthony helped to create the Plaza Hotel’s first ever “Eloise Tour” incorporating characters and places featured in the Eloise books. About this project, Anthony says: “When they wanted magic, it was my job to find the magic.”

Ever since, he has been passionate about finding creative, tailor-made solutions to make life a little easier and a lot more fun!
